About the Role
Our finance team is looking for a skilled Finance Manager to manage our financial operations. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage processes related to financial planning & analysis, as well as develop strategies to drive operational efficiency. You will also oversee offshore resources, ensuring their alignment with team goals and standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly financial reports.
- Oversee financial data analysis and provide actionable insights to our customers.
- Record necessary journal entries and adjustments to support month-end closings.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present annual budgets for each property that you oversee.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations' efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and our account managers to streamline processes and quickly resolve tickets.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and assist in audits, tax filings, and other ad hoc financial projects as needed.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related managerial role, preferably within property management or the real estate industry.
- Experience managing offshore resources, with strong skills in coordination, communication, and performance oversight.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with a proven ability to manage a team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software. Experience with
