About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vendor Operations Associate to join our onshore team. This junior role supports the Vendor Operations Manager by managing day-to-day interactions with vendors in the property management space, including plumbers, electricians, boiler technicians, pest control specialists, and others. The Vendor Operations Associate will play a pivotal role in ensuring vendor services are executed efficiently, contracts are managed effectively, and our proprietary ticketing system is leveraged to deliver exceptional service to the buildings we manage.
This role requires a collaborative individual with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of vendor operations within property management.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communication with vendors.
- Ensure vendors are aligned with service level agreements (SLAs) and deliverables.
- Assign tasks to vendors using the proprietary ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
Ticket Management:
- Use the proprietary ticketing system to track, prioritize, and manage vendor-related tasks.
- Monitor ticket progress, follow up on unresolved issues, and ensure completion to meet SLA requirements.
- Identify and escalate complex or high-priority tickets to the Vendor Operations Manager.
Requirements
- 2+ years in a property management, facilities coordination, or vendor operations role.
- Familiarity with managing vendors in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, pest control, or boiler systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in ticketing or task management systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.
Salary Range: $14-$20 per hour
(24-32 hours per week, 3-4 days a week)
